  • The main cause for white spots on teeth is Fluorosis, when an individual intakes excess amount of fluoride the teeth enamel gets damaged as we know that toothpaste contains fluoride but too much intake of fluoride by teeth might result to cause white spots on teeth. You should also be aware that you should not give children’s excess amount of fluoride before their teeth gets completely developed as it will also result in white spots on teeth. That’s why it is said not to give children’s less than 3 years fluoride toothpaste to brush their teeth, and if the child is above 3 years you should give them a pea sized toothpaste to brush their teeth.
